It Changed My Life! Learning to Manage My Mind. It Can Change Yours Too!

I love knowing how to manage my mind, I love it so much. Because…

…I spent so much of my life worrying about anything and everything!

I was either worrying about things in the future – I don’t think I can do it? What if I can’t do it? What if I make a fool of myself? What will other people think?

Or it was going over things that had happened – Why did I get it wrong? What should I have said? Why can’t I do it?

I could go on (and on).

Situations replaying in my mind over and over. Stopping me concentrating on work, stopping me sleeping. Stopping me doing things I wanted to do.

I believed that this was just the way I was – a born worrier. It not only frustrated me, it frustrated those around me.

I didn’t know that I could change, that I could take back control of my thoughts. 

Now I just love sharing what I know – supporting others to deal with whatever is bothering them.

When you get to the point that your worries and fears are stopping you doing what you really really want to do, that’s the time to do something about it. That’s the way it was for me.

For me – it was all about my horse – initially. After uni I got a job and I bought a horse! I’d dreamed of it since I first sat on a pony, age 6. But it wasn’t a dream come true – instead my mind found a whole load of things to worry about – stealing my joy, and driving me crazy.

So, I sought help. I went on courses, I got 1:1 support, and read lots too.

Once I started learning about managing my mindset I was hooked. It wasn’t just helping me as a rider, it was helping me in every aspect of my life. Why wasn’t I taught this at an early age? Why didn’t I know this stuff?

I had to learn more. In 2012 I completed my Performance Coaching and NLP Practitioner qualifications.

As a Mindset & Performance Coach I focus on giving practical, actionable support to Female Entrepreneurs

A Bit More About Me

 

I worked for 20 years in a job in local government – that wasn’t really me. I can’t change the past, but if I knew what I know now, I never would have stayed that long.

I’m a lover of the countryside and being outdoors. I live in North Wales. in a rural location with my husband, our dogs, horses and pet sheep.

Some of the things that make my heart sing – walking with the dogs, spending time with my horses, upcycling furniture and nice meals out.

Amanda is a Mindset Coach for Female Biz Owners – helping ambitious business women get unstuck with practical, actionable support.

Now in midlife, Amanda spent much of her earlier life at the mercy of her unhelpful thoughts and worry – and truly believed that was “just the way she was”. She understands the frustration this causes. Through her own personal development Amanda has learnt that she could take back control of her thinking and manage her mind. Now she loves to share these skills with other women to help them deal with whatever is troubling them.

Amanda has a Diploma in Performance Coaching, and is an NLP Practitioner. She is known for her attention to detail and ability to hone down on the key issues that are standing in her clients way. Amanda is supportive, straight talking, and gives her clients practical actionable advice. Her clients have seen life changing results from her coaching.
